TOGETHER, We Are Portland.

Together by Local Image was created as an avenue to support our local business community. As a marketing agency built solely on helping local businesses succeed we are launching Together, an ongoing campaign, to support small companies and local initiatives. The idea for together was born in the face of the global COVID-19 Pandemic, where we have seen so much of our local economy being negatively affected. We believe that when we band together, we build a stronger foundation to help our community flourish.

INITIATIVE #2: SHOP LOCAL MURAL

We are beyond excited to be launching our next Together campaign. We were blown away by the level of support we received in our first initiative supporting local restaurants. Our goal is to keep the momentum going. This time we have teamed up with Portland’s Downtown District to help fund the first mural in their citywide mural campaign. Other partners include Maine College of Art and Portland Buy Local.

The mural will be done in the heart of Downtown Portland. We are working with MECA alums Hugh McCormick and Carter Shappy on the design and installation. Portland Buy Local will help inform ideas for the content.The vision is a large scale tribute to all of the hardworking individuals and industries that make our local business community so unique and diverse. From the working waterfront and restaurant scene to the arts and entrepreneurs. Paired with a mission of encouraging our locals and tourists to shop local.
