Web Developer + Design
Web Developer + Design
Born and raised in Vermont and now transplanted to her forever vacationland of Maine, this web developer will provide a responsive, high-speed site that delivers results and one that you can be proud to call your own.
With functionality and content coming first, Kayla thrives off of developing sites that provide an easy user experience and embodies your brand’s story. But it doesn’t stop at the user experience level. Kayla strongly believes that your website should work for you. By implementing custom content management systems or integrating with currently used CRMs, inventory systems, scheduling software or other systems; she’ll create a website that can seamlessly integrate with your everyday business ventures without skipping a beat.
But, wait! There’s more… what good is a website that can’t be discovered? With new sites being built every single day there’s a lot of competition out there. That’s where SEO comes in. Implementing tried and true applications and working with the fabulous content writers of the Local Image team; Kayla will make sure your website is discoverable and optimized for your target audience.
Kayla Quesnel graduated from Castleton University with a degree in communications and business marketing. While interning she realized her love for the digital space and working with companies to help build their online presence. She then went on to work for a branding agency for 7 years where she sharpened her development skills and solidified her passion for web development and design.
When she isn’t writing code or analyzing your website you can find Kayla exploring the outdoors and almost always accompanied by at least one of her two Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, Finley and Trixie. She’s got an up-for-anything, easy going personality unless you use spaces instead of tabs or like fake maple syrup over the real stuff. She loves hunting, almost as much as her dogs and has been known to enjoy a good fiction novel; Where the Crawdads Sing is her current favorite (other than the Harry Potter series, obviously) and is always open to suggestions.
It might be a little funny to think that creating beautiful, functional websites would bring someone joy, but for Kayla it is exactly that. She hopes that by helping small businesses establish their online presence she can help with their company’s growth and success. She’s driven by creating websites that work for your company and can’t wait to help you build yours.
